Android # 17 is Android # 18 twin brother he is very serious when it comes to fighting and he is very proud of his techniques. In the future Trunks timeline he was evil and had killed half of earth population. But in the "current" timeline he only searched to destroy Goku. He failed at his task and was eaten by Cell which made Cell stronger and go to his second stage. Later on he helps Goku in the Majin Boo saga by ginving all of his energy to him. Many years later Dr. Gero, Android # 17's creator decided to create Artificial 17 so that Android # 17 could fuse with him to become Super Android # 17. But once again this new robot was defeaten by Goku's great powers.
