Vegeta is the prince of the planet Vegeta. This proud prince first comes in the saga as an evil powerful warior with only two goals in his mind : to destroy life on every planet so that he may sell them to important buyers and the second goal is to find the DragonBalls so that he may wish for immortality. After being defeated by Goku in the Sayajin Saga Vegeta searches for revenge so that he may gain his pride and title back ( the title of the strongest warrior alive). Goku always having more power than him he always sees that it is useless for him to attemp to fight with him. In the Majin Boo Saga he lets the evil Babi De make a slave out of him so that he may gain more power and so that he may challenge Goku to a duel and win. But once again Goku is stonger than him. He will always compete so that he may gain more power than Goku. Later on he will have a child with Bulma without being married to her. He will not respect the future Trunks as he should and will even hit him with numerous fireballs to arrive to his ends. However this cold hearted man will show some emotions towards Chibi Trunks and will try to save his life in the Boo Saga.
