Ranma's Challenger and Friend

Since he was very young Mousse has been in love with Shampoo. Indeed the vision-impaired young man has fought Shampoo to gain the priviledge to marry her. But after losing the battle against  Shampoo he is not alowed to marry her.
 
This magician-martial artist hides many weapons under his sleeves and tries vainly to challenge Shampoo to a duel so that he can marry her. That's when Ranma Saotome comes in. Ranma fought with Shampoo and won the battle. Thus Ranma is now destined to marry Shampoo (if you follow the laws of Shampoo's tribe). Because of this Mousse tries many times to challenge Ranma so that he can gain the respect that he desires from Shampoo's great grand mother Cologne and the permision to marry Shampoo.

Mousse believes that Ranma is the reason why Shampoo dislikes him and he envies the fact that Ranma is Shampoo's "fiancee". In order to become stronger Mousse will go to the Jusenkyo sources but by accident Mousse fell into the "Spring of drowned duck" and since then he becomes a duck at the contact of cold water. For this curse he blames Ranma because the only reason he went there it was to become more powerful than Ranma.
